The Trade Truck opens transport activity, with Base level 12 included in its construction requirements. The building has one level; each truck journey has its own cargo and escort.
How a journey works
Before departure, you can refresh a truck's quality. The first refresh is free; later refreshes consume items. A squad must be assigned to escort the truck before it can leave.
Once dispatched, the truck cannot be recalled or canceled. It follows a route on the world map, where commanders outside your alliance can raid it. Escort and raid battles do not cause actual unit losses.
At the destination, you collect the cargo rewards that remain after any raids. The cargo shown before departure and the reward you finally collect can therefore differ.
Escorting and research
A squad already escorting a truck cannot be selected for another escort. Military Truck research provides separate improvements for transport, including cargo, travel and escort combat effects.
The Armed Truck is the idle-reward system, not this escort activity. Alliance transport uses the separate Alliance Trade Train.
