The Hospital holds injured units and lets you heal them. Its first plot requires Base level 9. Hospital capacity is separate from the army capacity provided by the Drill Grounds.
How healing works
You can heal all injured units or select a smaller group. When you heal only part of the group, the duration of that treatment becomes the default for the next one. Choosing to heal all clears the saved duration and makes Heal All the default again.
If you do not have enough resources to heal everyone, the game heals as many units as your available resources allow. Healing speed and Hospital capacity are separate bonuses: one affects treatment time, while the other affects space for injured units.
Capacity as you upgrade
A level 1 Hospital has 650 capacity. This grows to 1,100 at level 10, 1,600 at level 20 and 2,000 at level 30. Additional Hospital plots have their own construction requirements.
The Barracks trains new units and promotes existing ones. The Hospital handles injured units instead, so a larger training batch does not replace Hospital capacity or complete an outstanding healing queue.
See Troop Training, Promotion and Healing Explained for how these systems work together.
