Alliance Duel turns a week's progress into a contest against another alliance. Radar tasks, hero upgrades, research and training can all contribute, but the active theme decides which actions count. The useful habit is to check Today's Theme before spending the materials you have saved.
Your personal score helps you reach reward chests. Your alliance's combined score determines the daily result, and those daily results contribute to the weekly duel. A large personal score and a weekly alliance victory are related goals, but they are measured separately.
Who can participate?
You need Base level 12 or higher. An alliance needs at least 20 members, and only the top 32 alliances by Power in each Warzone can enter Sunday's matchmaking for the following week.
Joining an alliance does not necessarily put you into an active duel. Check Duel Status to see whether your alliance has a rival for the current week. If you switch alliances during the duel, your contributions to alliance points are disabled for one day. Personal Points are unaffected during that restriction, so you can still work toward your Personal Point Chests.
How the daily and weekly scores work
- Personal Points
Complete the active theme's tasks and work toward your chests.
- Daily alliance score
Members' contributions determine the day's winner.
- Weekly Duel Points
Daily results count toward the final alliance victory.
Complete the actions listed under the day's theme to earn Personal Points. Members' Personal Points contribute to the alliance's daily total, subject to the alliance-switch restriction. The alliance with the higher daily score wins that day's main Duel Points. The weekly winner is the alliance with the most Duel Points when the themes finish.
That distinction helps with planning. Look at both your next personal chest and the current alliance matchup before using a large stock of items. Coordinate with your alliance so that a push for a daily win is a shared decision rather than several members spending without knowing the plan.
The six themes and what to prepare
- Radar Special Training
Theme 1Radar · Airship · Stamina
- Base Development
Theme 2Building Power · Trucks · Specialists · Covert Missions
- Tech Advancements
Theme 3Tech Power · Valor Badges · Research Speedups · Radar
- Heroes Progression
Theme 4Skills · Hero XP · Recruitment · Shards
- War Preparations
Theme 5Training · Building Power · Training Speedups · Tech Power
- Opposing Forces
Theme 6Kills · Covert Missions · Trucks · Any Speedup
The event presents six themes. Use their task lists to decide when to make an upgrade; the same kind of progress can appear under more than one theme.
Prepare the resources for upgrades you already intend to make. Keep hero XP, shards and recruitment items ready for Heroes Progression. Before War Preparations, use the troop calculator to budget training time and units. For Tech Advancements, check your planned research before using Valor Badges or research speedups.
Read the individual task before completing it. A category such as Building Power tells you where to look, but the task states the action and amount that earns points. The building calculator helps with upgrade costs and time; use the event's own task list for the points awarded.
Personal chests, ranking rewards and research
Personal Point Chests reward your own progress. Daily Personal Ranking Rewards compare members of both competing alliances, while Daily Victory Rewards and Weekly Victory Rewards depend on the duel's results. Check the reward panel's required contribution before assuming that an alliance win makes every reward claimable.
Alliance Duel technology adds another part to your preparation. Upgrading any Tech Center to level 15 unlocks Alliance Duel Tech. Research can increase point earnings and unlock chest tiers 4–6 and 7–9. If later chests are locked, check their research requirement as well as your score.
This is worth reviewing before the week begins. A stock of materials helps you complete tasks, while the appropriate technology affects the points and reward tiers you can work toward.
Opposing Forces and Alliance Raid
Alliance Raid opens with Opposing Forces. The event's Attack button takes you to your rival alliance's Warzone, and its return control brings you back. The raid lasts one day; when it ends, visiting commanders are recalled to their own Warzones.
Defeating units belonging to the rival alliance earns extra Alliance Duel Points. The event's cross-Warzone travel does not consume an Advanced Teleporter, but teleporting within the same Warzone does. Keep those two moves separate when planning where to fight.
Coordinate targets and protection with your alliance before traveling. The game also suggests activating a shield and moving to the Alliance Assembly Point for commanders who do not want to take part in the fighting. Check your shield and your squads before the combat theme begins, not after attacks arrive.
A practical routine for the week
At the start of each theme, check the scoring tasks, your next chest and the alliance's plan. Then choose upgrades that serve both the event and your account. Saving shards for Heroes Progression is useful when they develop a hero you intend to use; spending them on an unwanted hero merely to add points still leaves you with that choice afterward.
Claim available chests and check your contribution against the victory-reward requirements. Before Opposing Forces, decide whether you are fighting or protecting your base and make the necessary arrangements with your alliance.
