The Gear Factory crafts equipment for your heroes. Construction requires Base level 12. Equipment has its own quality, enhancement levels and promotion progress, separate from the factory's building level.

How gear development works

Enhancing a piece of gear raises its base stats. The item's quality determines its enhancement cap, and SSR and UR gear unlock additional stats at certain levels. Basic gear materials can be synthesized into advanced materials; unwanted gear can be dismantled.

Dismantling upgraded equipment returns all Gear Upgrade Stones used on it and 80% of the other used materials. The Smelter produces new Upgrade Stones over time.

Promotion at factory level 20

Gear Factory level 20 opens promotion for max-level UR gear. Each promotion advances progress. When that progress is full, the next promotion requires blueprints to increase the star rating.

UR blueprints are used for the earlier star stages, while 4-star gear needs MR blueprints. At 5 stars, the item becomes MR and unlocks a fifth additional stat. Raising the factory to level 20 enables this system; the gear still needs its own levels, materials and promotion steps.
