The Gear Factory is where you make equipment for your heroes and develop the pieces you already own. Crafting creates a new item. Enhancement raises its level, while promotion takes max-level UR gear through star upgrades toward MR quality. Each has its own costs and requirements, so a factory upgrade alone will not finish a piece of gear.

Construction requires Base level 12. Use the Gear Factory building table for construction and upgrade costs, or the hero gear database to compare the equipment available for each slot.

Heroes have weapon, backpack, grenade and vest slots. Each has gear at several qualities, so compare the item you are replacing with the one you want to make. A recipe creates one piece, not a complete set.

SR and SSR recipes are available at Gear Factory level 1. UR crafting requires Factory level 10. The base crafting times are 1 hour for SR, 2 hours for SSR and 48 hours for UR, before crafting-speed bonuses.

Those are crafting costs. Keep a separate budget for enhancing the new piece afterward. The gear calculator lets you choose a current and target level, compare stats and check how far your Upgrade Stones and Coins will take you.

Combining materials

  1. Hardened Wood
  2. 4 → 1Refined Bronze
  3. 4 → 1Tempered Ingot
  4. 4 → 1Carbon Steel
  5. 4 → 1Hyper Alloy
Each conversion uses four of the previous material. 3,000 Carbon Steel → 750 Hyper Alloy for one UR crafting recipe.

The Synthesize tab turns lower-quality gear materials into higher-quality ones. This is a separate operation from upgrading equipment: materials become other materials, rather than raising the level of an equipped item.

Check the recipe for your next piece before combining your stock. Refined Bronze, Tempered Ingots, Carbon Steel and Hyper Alloy serve different crafting qualities. Hyper Alloy also appears in UR promotion costs, so crafting a new orange piece and developing an existing one can draw from the same supply.

Enhancement levels and extra stats

Heavy Machine Gun · extra stats
  1. Level 10+250Hero Attack
  2. Level 20+2.5%Critical Rate
  3. Level 30+250Hero Attack
  4. Level 40+2.5%Critical Rate

Enhancement improves a piece's base stats. Blue SR gear reaches level 15, purple SSR reaches level 30, and orange UR reaches level 40 before its star progression.

Extra stats give some levels more significance than others. SSR gains an extra stat at levels 10, 20 and 30. UR gains one at levels 10, 20, 30 and 40. Read the specific item's bonuses before choosing a target: the same milestone does not award the same stat on every piece.

For example, the Heavy Machine Gun unlocks +250 Hero Attack at level 10 and +2.5% Critical Rate at level 20. Level 30 adds another +250 Hero Attack, and level 40 adds another +2.5% Critical Rate. The purple Rifle instead gains a +2% Increase Damage to Monsters bonus at each of levels 10, 20 and 30. That difference matters when deciding which item fits the fights you are preparing for.

The calculator shows base stats and extra stats separately. Choose the exact piece and target level to see both the cost and the milestone you are working toward. The Smelter supplies Gear Upgrade Stones over time.

Dismantling upgraded gear

Dismantling upgraded gear returns all Gear Upgrade Stones spent on it and 80% of the used materials. This lets you recover stones from an older piece, but the material return is not complete.

Check the selected gear and the displayed return before confirming. The game gives separate warnings for high-quality gear and upgraded gear. An item you no longer use on one hero may still be useful elsewhere, so inspect your other heroes' equipment before dismantling it.

Promoting UR gear to MR

  1. UR level 40

    Reach the enhancement cap.

  2. Factory level 20

    Promotion becomes available.

  3. 5 stars → MR

Work through promotion progress and star upgrades to unlock the fifth extra stat.

Promotion requires Gear Factory level 20 and max-level UR gear. For an orange piece, that means reaching enhancement level 40 first. Factory level 20 opens the system; it does not give the item a star automatically.

Each promotion advances the item's progress. Once that progress is full, the next promotion needs additional blueprints to raise the star rating. Gear at 0 through 3 stars uses Gear Blueprint (UR); a 4-star piece needs Gear Blueprint (MR) for its next star.

A star increase resets promotion progress and improves the extra stats. At 5 stars, the piece changes to MR quality and unlocks a fifth extra stat. Treat reaching level 40 and reaching MR as separate goals when setting aside materials.

Planning the next upgrade

Start with the item and the result you want. For an empty slot, check its crafting recipe. For an extra-stat milestone, compare the cost of reaching that level in the hero gear calculator. For MR progression, check the factory requirement, the item's current stars and the blueprint shown on its next promotion.

This keeps your material target specific. Saving for 750 Hyper Alloy to craft an orange piece is a different plan from collecting the Upgrade Stones needed to level one you already own.
