How to use the Hero Gear Upgrade calculator

  1. Choose the piece in "Gear".
  2. Set its "Current level" and the "Target level" you want to reach.
  3. Enter the "Number of identical pieces" if you are upgrading several copies of the same gear through the same levels.
  4. Read "Total upgrade costs" and the "Cost by level" table to see what every level takes.
  5. Check "What changes with this upgrade?" for the stats one piece gains.
  6. Under "What can I afford?", enter your "Stones owned" and "Coins owned" to find the highest level your materials cover.

Example: two Heavy Machine Guns from level 20 to 30

Choose Heavy Machine Gun, set level 20 → 30 and enter 2 identical pieces. The total upgrade cost is 116,400 Gear Upgrade Stones and 17,500,000 Coins.

Now enter 60,000 stones and 10,000,000 coins under "What can I afford?". Both pieces can reach level 25, leaving 6,400 stones and 1,900,000 coins. To reach level 30 you are still missing 56,400 Gear Upgrade Stones and 7,500,000 Coins.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the cost?
Only level upgrades, paid in Gear Upgrade Stones and Coins. Crafting the gear and star promotions are separate and are not included.
How high can each gear colour go?
Blue gear reaches level 15, purple gear level 30 and orange gear level 40 before star promotions.
Why would I enter more than one piece?
When several heroes use the same gear, you can plan all copies at once. Every piece is upgraded through the same levels, from 1 to 100 pieces.
Are the stats shown for all pieces together?
No. Stats are shown for one piece, and extra stats that unlock at certain levels are listed separately from base stats.
How does "What can I afford?" work?
It starts at your current level and finds the highest level that your stones and coins cover for every selected piece. It also shows what is missing for your chosen target.
Are my inputs saved?
Yes. Your gear, levels, number of pieces and material balances are kept in this browser.
