The hub of late-game research
Special Forces raises your units' base ATK, DEF and HP, reduces damage taken by all hero types, and adds more Barracks, training and Hospital improvements along the way. More importantly, it is the branch that opens the rest of the late game: Siege to Seize and Defense Fortifications need 40 of its levels, and all three Masteries need 80.
Special Forces compared
With 221 levels across 23 research, it has more levels than any other individual branch. It unlocks after 80 Alliance Duel levels and asks for Tech Center levels from 15 up to 30.
It is the first branch to need both regular resources and Valor Badges: about 8.2 billion Food, 8.2 billion Iron, 24.5 billion Coins and 255,240 Valor Badges, over about 1,950 days at base speed. Enhanced ATK, DEF and HP III are the longest research, at about 183 days each.
