Arena lets you challenge other commanders and work toward ranking rewards without losing troops. You choose an opponent and a lineup, while your saved defense gives other players a team to face. Keeping that defense current is part of your progress, even when you are concentrating on your next attack.

Top Force has several Arena events. Check the name on the event screen first: a points-based Arena, Apex Arena and the 3v3 Championship have different ways to determine the winner and the rankings.

Attempts, opponents and rewards

The basic Arena rules provide five free attempts each day. Each challenge grants rewards, improving your rank can earn achievement rewards, and the final rank determines the event's ranking reward. Additional attempts can be purchased with Diamonds; read the displayed price and remaining purchase limit before buying.

Other Arena events have their own challenge limits. Treat the remaining-attempt counter on the current event as your budget. The number of opponents shown when you press Challenge is not the number of attempts you have left.

Inspect the opposing team before confirming a fight. The game warns when your unit level is lower than your opponent's and points you toward the relevant Barracks upgrade. A matchup can therefore call for more than changing a hero's position.

Keep your defense lineup up to date

Review your saved defense after developing a new hero or changing equipment. In Vanguard and Commander Arena, the highest-Power squad is used as the default defense, and you can adjust it after the competition begins. Apex starts with your T1 lineup as its default defense. These defaults are useful starting points, but checking the actual saved team avoids leaving an older setup in place.

Compare the heroes you have developed, including their levels, skills and gear. If a fight goes badly, open Records and inspect the battle rather than changing several things at once. Try one formation adjustment, then compare the next result. This makes it easier to see whether the problem was the matchup or the team you selected.

Arena uses your highest-level units by default. Its battles do not wound or kill them, so an Arena loss does not create a Hospital healing bill. Challenge attempts still matter, even though troops are safe.

Entry ranks use Total Hero Power in your Warzone/server.

These Arenas begin with 1,000 Arena Points, while initial placement is based on Total Hero Power. Pressing Challenge presents five nearby commanders to choose from. Wins gain points and losses lose points; the difference between the commanders' point totals affects the size of the change.

Total Hero Power also determines entry into the tiers. High Tier is for the top 200 commanders in their Warzone, and Mid Tier is for ranks 201–800. High Tier can include one to four Warzones, while Mid Tier can include one to two. Vanguard also includes a Low Tier for the remaining commanders within their own Warzone.

Eligibility is assessed when the Arena opens. Improving your Total Hero Power ranking during the season can make promotion available. Check the promotion prompt when you cross a tier threshold rather than assuming that your current Arena Points decide entry.

Complete 1, 3 and 5 daily challenges to claim the corresponding Daily Chests. These are challenge-count milestones, so keep them separate from your Arena Points and final ranking. Personal and alliance ranking rewards are sent by mail when the event ends.

Apex Arena: winning a higher rank

Apex uses rank exchanges. Defeat a higher-ranked opponent and the two of you swap positions. This changes the decision from earning a number of points to choosing which rank you can realistically take.

Entry requires a top-800 position in Total Hero Power on your server. An event can include commanders from one to four Warzones. Apex opens on Tuesday, competition runs through Saturday, and Sunday and Monday are rest days. Rewards are settled on Saturday using the final rankings, so check the event's countdown before your last push.

Apex rewards include rare avatar frames that increase all heroes' ATK. Inspect the reward brackets when choosing your target rank; gaining another position matters most when it reaches a reward you want.

3v3 Championship: prepare three squads

The 3v3 Championship is open to the server's top 200 commanders by Total Hero Power. You must prepare three squads. All three battles run simultaneously, and the match is decided as a best of three.

Attack and Defense lineups can be saved separately. Review the squads and their deployment order in both setups. A single strong team does not automatically win a match that requires two battle victories.

The event allows up to 30 challenges per day, with attempts resetting daily. It uses your highest-level troops without consuming them. Rewards include ranking, daily and alliance rewards; allies of commanders who finish in the top 10 receive rewards too. You can also Like each of the top three players daily for 30 Diamonds per Like.

Before your next challenge

Check which Arena you are entering, how it changes your rank and how many attempts remain. Inspect the opponent, confirm your attacking lineup and review your saved defense after upgrades. Claim challenge chests where available, then use the event timer and reward brackets to plan the remaining attempts.

For equipment improvements between events, the Gear Factory guide explains extra-stat milestones, and the gear calculator shows what your next level target costs.
